The U.S. Catholic Indigenous Boarding Schools Accountability and Healing Project is a non-profit association whose purpose is to facilitate accountability and healing of damage inflicted by the Catholic Church upon Indigenous peoples through truth, transparency, dialogue and action.

Catholic Church: Indigenous Pastoral Framework

The Indigenous Pastoral Framework has been written and published by Most Reverend Chad Zielinski (Bishop of New Ulm, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Native American Affairs) and Most Reverend Arturo Cepeda (Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit, Chairman of the Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church)

The document KEEPING CHRIST'S PROMISE: A PASTORAL FRAMEWORK FOR INDIGENOUS MINISTRY was developed by the Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church/Subcommittee on Native American Affairs of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). It was approved by the full body of the USCCB at its June 2024 General Assembly and has been authorized for publication by the undersigned.
